Emory Dialysis Clinics

The Emory Clinic - Health Systems Management
55,000 sf., Renovation of existing retail and warehouse spaces included major civil
and structural modifications. Due to the conversion of clinical space, all new utilities
were brought to two of the sites. The three clinics will accommodate a total of
98 dialysis stations plus six (6) dialysis isolations rooms.

The Emory Clinic, 1365 Clifton Rd. NE, Atlanta
3,500 sf., Renovation of Imaging Suite at the Emory Clinic. Job included a new GE
MRI machine that required Lindgren RF shielding enclosure for new MRI room.
Project included Computer Room Unite and Domestic Water Backup system for
equipment.
Selection criteria was qualifications and price.
The project was delivered on time. The quality was above expectations with the
complexity of the design and the project stayed on budget.

Emory Healthcare
40,000 sf., Renovation of existing 30 year old building. Complete demolition of
existing two floors. Major structural upgrades for new five story Freight Elevator
and two MRIs on the fourth floor. New 5,000sf laboratory. New 20,000sf Surgery
Center with complete new medical gas systems, stand alone HVAC and steam systems,
generator back up, Pre Op and Post Op, and Clean & Dirty Supply areas.

The Emory Clinic – Winship Cancer Center
1,329 sf., Renovation of an existing space to house a Linear Accelerator. The project
included concrete and lead radiation shielding with a lead filled, sliding vault
door. Upgrades to the mechanical systems were made to the building to support
the new machine, including a new shell and tube heat exchanger and a expanded
preaction sprinkler system.
Selection criteria included qualifications and price.
The project was delivered on a fast track basis on time. Quality was not sacrificed
as part of the expediting process.

Emory School of Medicine, Department of Radiation Oncology
30,000 sf., Renovation of existing occupied healthcare facility. Complete demolition
of existing space and build back of new. All new mechanical and electrical
systems. Major upgrades for 3 Linear Accelerators that included structural changes,
new preaction sprinkler system & upgrades the base building mechanical systems.
The project was delivered on time. The quality was above expectations with the
complexity of the design and the project stayed on budget.

Piedmont Hospital, 1965 Peachtree Rd NW, Atlanta
6,052sf, Renovation of the Piedmont Pediatrics Practice suite. This project included
a full removal and build back of the entire 6,052 sf. The project includes 21
new exam rooms, 6 new doctors offices, 3 new nurses stations and 2 new waiting
reception areas.
The project was delivered on time despite the practice stayed 100% operational
during the entire process.

Piedmont Hospital, 1965 Peachtree Rd NW, Atlanta
3,300sf, Renovation of the Eye Consultants of Atlanta Piedmont Hospital Suite.
This project was a full renovation of the 3,300 sf. suite to accommodate 8 new exam
rooms, 2 new doctors offices and 1 new waiting reception area.
The project was delivered ahead of time while assisting the installation of all exam
room equipment.

Piedmont Hospital, 1965 Peachtree Rd NW, Atlanta
4,083 sf., Renovation for the Piedmont Colorectal Associates suite. This project
included a full removal and build back of the entire 4,083sf. This project included
6 new exam rooms, 5 new doctors offices, 1 ne procedures room and new reception/
business office.
Selection criteria included qualifications and price.
The project was delivered on time and the quality was above the expectations of
the end user.

Gwinnett Medical Center, Women’s Pavilion
5,610 sf., Renovation of the existing occupied Gwinnett Medical Center Women’s
Pavilion. Demolition of all floor walls and ceiling finishes and replace with new
updated finishes.
Selection criteria was a qualifications and price from a select list of CM firms.
The project was delivered on time. The Women’s Pavilion continued to stay 100%
operational during the renovation project.
