2008 marks the beginning of a company with over a Century of experience.

The Company was founded in Macon, Georgia by Morris Putzel in 1893, only five years after the

During the company's early days, Morris Putzel and his brother Isadore installed direct current power plants in middle Georgia. Putzel Electric was started again in 2008 by Morris Purcel and a skilled management team and field staff. President, Nick Young, and Director of Field Operations Bert Wise are leading the charge today as Putzel moves forward. Putzel continues to grow, constantly exploring new ways to improve its operations and broaden its horizons. With a large employee roster, the company is licensed throughout the Southeast. Putzel has proven experience in construction of manufacturing and industrial plants, hospitals, laboratories, as a positive member of construction teams throughout the Southeast committed to the excellence of design and installation of a full range of electrical systems, and meeting the industry’s challenges today and in the future.
